Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.
The demand from our customers for our products is bigger than ever before and continuous to grow. To adopt the global production capacity, we are on our way to prepare the establishment of Scania’s third industrial hub in Rugao in China. The first products are planned to be produced by the end of 2024. In order to complete the management team responsible for the establishment we are looking for the
CFO Industrial Operations Asia
that will be a part of the biggest step in Scania’s industrial establishment ever!
To our new establishment within Industrial operation in China we are looking for a CFO with responsibility for Production, R&D and Purchasing. The commercial business is part of the already existing Business Unit.
You will continue to develop the organisation and the needed capabilities within the area of Finance and Business control (F&BC). The establishment project is ongoing and will continue until the activity is up and running.
Your mission will be to:
Support and challenge the local management with your competence withing the financial area. Lead, build and develop the finance team to a good Scania standard. You will be responsible for implementation of compliance, risk management, governance and GDPR, i.e. all policies.
It will also be your responsibility to:
• secure competencies within finance and digitalization
• support operations – Production, R&D and Purchasing
• actively participate in the establishment project with your F&BC knowledge
• drive performance measurement and development of our KPIs
You together with the President Industrial Operations Asia will create and secure transparency of the cross functional operation to the Head office.
Your team will be responsible to deliver financial information, both internally and externally, in accordance with external as well as internal standards and reporting schedules.
We are looking for someone that has extensive financial and management skills and broad Scania experience. You must be prepared to be stationed in China and work with both large and small issues during the first years of developing the organisation and operation.
You are fluent in English.
