Väderstad is a leading player in the international industry of agricultural implements. The role as CFO of Väderstad Group is instrumental for us to continue to build a strong and resilient business, that cater to the future needs of global farming. We are looking for a person with a strong business acumen who will work closely with the CEO and with the colleagues in the group management team. This role is vital in developing our business, enhancing our profitability, and ensuring a sustainable growth. The mission for this role will be to ensure that the business can continue to grow in a sustainable and profitable way, with a solid financial position, and with a sound management of risks.
Main tasks:
Assess and evaluate financial performance of the organization regarding long-term operational objectives, budgets, and forecasts Lead, support and continuously develop our global finance team
Primary responsibility for the planning, implementation, managing and running of all the finance activities in the company
Manage the processes of long- and short-term financial forecasting and budgets, and oversee the preparation of all financial reporting
Provide strategic recommendations to both short- and long-term growth plan of organisation to the CEO/president and members of the group management team, as well as to the Board of Directors
As part of the group management team, participate in pivotal decisions as they relate to strategic initiatives, operational models, short- and long-term growth plans and related business development activities
Responsibility to provide support to other functions for budgeting, financial analyses and forecasting via the business controller team
Responsibility for financing, cash management and cash-flow planning processes to ensure funds availability
Ensure compliance with the law and company policies, and ensure the provision of legal support to other functions in the company

The position is part of the group management team and includes personnel responsibility for employees within the Finance & Legal function – approximately 25 people located in Sweden and North America. You will be based at our headquarters in Väderstad.
We are looking for a M.Sc. graduate or equivalent. You have several years of experience as CFO or financial manager in an international group structure. You have a solid leadership background and a successful leadership history. You have preferably worked in a manufacturing company and have good knowledge of, and experience from an international environment. Good knowledge of global economy and financial markets is a requirement. Your primary interest lies in the analysis linked to business development, but you also have very good understanding of accounting. Furthermore, you need to have in depth knowledge of corporate financial law, consolidated financial statements and risk management practices. Well-developed analytical skills, as well as excellent communication skills are required. We assume that you master Swedish and English in both speech and writing.
