CFO/VP Finance

Seco Tools AB is a product area within the business area Sandvik Machining Solutions.

Seco Tools has an established reputation as a leading manufacturer and supplier of carbide cutting tools and associated equipment. We provide powerful machining solutions to leading companies around the world. Aerospace, Oil & Gas, Energy and Medical industry solutions are, among many others, where we deploy highly specialized machining competence. We operate sales and production units in more than 40 countries with total revenue of 7 BSEK and strong profitability.

We are currently looking for a CFO/VP Finance based at the headquarters in Fagersta, Sweden.

Key performance areas
As CFO, you will report to the President of Product Area Seco Tools, be part of Seco Executive Management team and be responsible for the finance function and its employees. Your main task is to be responsible for finance, accounting, reporting and business control for Product Area Seco Tools globally, designed in a way that supports our strategy in terms of profitability, growth and capital management and that ensures we fulfill accounting and legal requirements.

Your duties include to:
- Manage the Finance function with operational efficiency and quality in focus
- Drive the development of Business Controlling capabilities
- Lead the transition of transactional financial duties into Sandvik Global Financial Shared Services (GFSS)
- Develop methods and processes for the finance function
- Ensure that reporting, accounting and reconciliation work is done in accordance with guidelines
- Drive the development of the budget and forecasting process
- Drive the development of key monitoring and analysis
- Take proactive part in the development of the Product Area, both as a functional leader and a member of Seco Tools Executive Management team

The role includes staff responsibilities.

Your profile
We are looking for you with sound leadership capabilities who has University degree, MBA or similar with an experience to take full responsibility for an entity's financial statements, accounting, reporting and financial monitoring. Good knowledge of business controlling and strong individual drive are prerequisites for the position. Experience of working with an integrated ERP system, as well as very good knowledge of MS Excel, is required.

You should enjoy a high rate of change, be business-oriented and have a strong desire to have a voice in Seco Tools Group as well as within Sandvik Machining Solutions. Fluent in English, spoken as well as written is mandatory. Good knowledge of Swedish is an advantage.
