Do you want to play a vital role as a leader and be the catalyst for productivity improvements in our standard procedures at Product Management and R&D? Sandvik Coromant is currently establishing a Project & Portfolio Office, where one of the objectives is to improve operational excellence by providing change support and models, while ensuring that the portfolio of planned and active projects is in line with our strategic direction.
The Project & Portfolio Office is now looking to appoint a Change Leader who is intrigued by new challenges on an international level, and has a genuine interest in managing the transformation to more efficient and synchronized procedures. You will achieve this by leading the execution of present and future change initiatives.
Key performance areas
As Change Leader for the Project & Portfolio Office, your areas of responsibility include:
- Coaching, challenging and coordinating managers through the change process
- Developing and governing our common change model
- Developing and retaining knowledge and skills in change management
- Managing, executing, following up and reporting the progress of the transformation program
- Being an ambassador for the common global way of working in change management
- Actively controlling and communicating the ongoing transformation
- Performing audits and initiating and supporting corrective actions
- Proposing, supporting and facilitating cross-site learning and transformation program improvements
- Leading collaboration networks of user groups and stakeholders
- Participating in the development of common methods and processes within the Sandvik Coromant Project & Portfolio management
This position involves some traveling.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a relevant degree, and some years' experience within business change programs. You have good leadership abilities and competence in change management, as well as a basic technical understanding of the mechanical engineering industry. Furthermore, experience in project management, coaching people and conducting training is advantageous. Good computer skills, including knowledge of working with databases, MS Office and Lotus Notes, are prerequisite, as are good communication skills in Swedish and English, both in writing and in speaking.
