What you will do
Change Leaders within the SW & Electronics Platform (SWEP) organization is responsible to create a learning organization that continuously improves the way we are working. You will work with continuous development and continuous deployment in accordance with Continuous Improvement Model. You will contribute to harmonization of SW and HW development process to all our different empowered teams in value creation, and fast delivery with build in quality in our advanced automotive products. 

As change leader you will drive improvement and change initiatives, practice value stream mapping, root cause analysis, problem solving workshops and retrospectives. Continuously learn and share your knowledge to enable as many teams as possible to adhere to latest best practices in diverse workflows. You will lead several improvement tasks to ensure better quality and higher speed. You will do this in collaboration with your Change Leader colleagues within SWEP and cross functional within the Research and Development organization.

Who are you
Ideally, you are a collaborative, communicative, curious, and result oriented professional with experience from product development flows. You are team player and servant leader that creates prerequisites for teams to move fastest possible in a sustainable manner towards the common objectives. You share your know-how and expertise, contribute where you can, and you are also not afraid to ask for help when you need it. At the same time you have no problem stating your own opinion, and setting high standards and expectations.
You communicate well in English and have at least a B.Sc. or equivalent within a technical area relevant to the teams’ work tasks (Computer, Electrical, Engineering Physics or similar). Beside previous leadership roles and experiences, we appreciate if you have experience from systems engineering and software development. Bonus points awarded for being data-driven and analytical, adopting/implementing Data Driven Transparency. You need to have knowledge in agile sw development and preferably also in the Volvo Cars ways of working.
