Change Manager

Arbetsbeskrivning

Who are we?
Volvo Cars is a company on a mission; to bring traditional car manufacturing into a connected, sustainable and smart future.

We are constantly pushing our own skills and abilities to drive change in the automobile industry like never before. We are looking for innovative, committed people to join us in this endeavour and create safe, sustainable and connected cars. We believe in the power of people and will challenge and support you to reach your full potential. Join us and be part of Volvo Cars’ journey into the future.

What's in it for you?
Volvo Cars as a company is currently moving into becoming a fully agile company with most of our software development being done in-house. Our current Change Management Process is more aligned to the previous way of working with ITIL v3.
We now want to streamline and improve the flow of changes to deliver value more quickly. One big and important responsibility is to take the current Change Management Process, develop it into something better, fitting with our new way of working and new challenges; then, roll that new process out globally throughout the Company.
Within the product, Major Incident Management in the Digital Core department, we are looking for a new team member in our global Team – a Change Manager. You will be working out of Gothenburg, Sweden.
You will be part of a highly motivated team that supports Volvo globally, within incident-, problem- and change (ITIL) processes. We are working from different locations all over the world in a Follow-the-sun model. In this role, you will interact with factories in more than four different countries as well as the commercial side of the business on both application and IT infrastructure systems.

What you’ll do:
Be responsible for Volvo Cars’ global Change Management Process and Change Schedule, following the ITIL standards. The Change Manager works on minimizing the risk associated with Changes, where we define a Change as "the addition, modification or removal of anything that could affect IT services".
The scope for the current process is IT Infrastructure as well as Volvo Cars most important Applications and Infrastructure Services used in all our plants as well in our offices.
Key Responsibilities:
•    Chair the global Volvo Cars Change Advisory Board (CAB) weekly.
o    A formal function to review and schedule all types of changes – Normal, Exception, Emergency, Standard.
•    Collaborating closely with stakeholders from IT development, IT operations, and market operations for vital approvals.
•    Ensure that all IT changes within the scope are being brought into the Change Schedule and the key stakeholders have approved changes before the implementation.
•    To act as key contact for all our Local Change Managers at our different production sites.
•    Participate in annual and quarterly service reviews as well as review and follow-up with monthly metrics on service data

Who you are:
We are looking for you who have solid change management experience in a production environment and good experience working with an Agile methodology.  You are certified in IT operations, e.g. ITIL, and are excellent in English, both written and spoken.  Facilitating and coordinating are among the most fun you know. It’s a plus if you have experience working with ITSM tools in general, Service Now, and within the Incident Management Process.

As a person, you are a good communicator, even in stressed situations, and are outspoken and outgoing as well as comfortable with stakeholder management including top management interaction.  We see that you are service-oriented, able to perform well, comfortable making hard decisions, and focused under pressure.  You enjoy being a team player, who can still have a certain measure of authority. Being self-motivated, engaged, flexible, innovative, and enjoying working in a global team in an agile way is what you like the most.

We offer our employees excellent benefits such as:
• Plenty of leave to let you take time off for what's most important in life At Volvo Car Group, all new parents with one year’s active permanent service now receive 24 weeks of parental leave, paid at 80 percent of their base pay.
