The department Product Documentation is divided in six different groups. We have the responsibility of all releases of models, drawings, parts, and product numbers within Volvo Car Group. The department is working closely with both engineering and car projects within the company to make and maintain the technical documentation of different vehicle variants.
What you’ll do
As a Change Order Specialist, you handle the complexity of parts, variant structure and software structure for all car models, factories and projects. We implement changes and updates in the PDM-Systems (Product Data Management Systems) KDP (Volvo Car Internal System) and Teamcenter Active Workspace (TCPLM), both in development phases, running production and aftermarket and handle deviations for pre series builds. You work in close cooperation with many stakeholders such as engineers from various development units within R&D and within the factories. You will have a predefined area of responsibility for various functions of the car both hardware and software and you will act as a representative for your area in different forums. Furthermore, you work in a team of colleagues who is working in parallel with you in similar areas of responsibility.
Do you fit the profile?
We are looking for you that have a passion for cars and focus on quality and results. We believe that you have Technical University degree or equivalent.
You have knowledge from different Automotive PDM-Systems and interest in the structure of the vehicle as well as experience of working with BOM (Bill Of Material).
You are fluent in English (written and spoken).

As a person you are very structured, detail oriented alongside that you have an analytical mindset. You like to search for information, asking questions and have an urge to cross connect all input to bring out the best solutions, as your work will have an impact on other parts of the company.
