About the Job
We're seeking a driven individual to take charge of our small vessel sales segment and lead it to new heights through strategic channel and partner development. You'll have the opportunity to work closely with our sales companies and other key functions to set the direction and strategy for this crucial area. As the Head of Marine Heat Transfer's right-hand person, you'll play an instrumental role in shaping the future of Alfa Laval Marine.
Key tasks:
· Focus on setting up the small vessels segment channel strategy; identify market potential and drive business growth in this segment.
· Focus on further strengthening the connection between the central Business Unit’s in the Marine Division and Sales Companies with regards to channel strategy.
· Establish and develop Channel management toolbox to become “Best in Class in Channel Business Management” across the complete lifecycle: Due diligence, onboarding, training, compliance, renewals and terminations.
· Work closely with sales companies to review the channel business trends and propose the channel business strategy and actions plans to drive the business growth, including measurement, rationalization, productivity improvement, incentive plans and channel conflicts resolutions.
· Support sales companies to develop annual plans with distributors to achieve capabilities in supporting application/quotation activities, product values and sales tools.
· Tracking channel activity, performance and create reports for the Business Units to make data-driven decisions to drive channel performance.
· Partner with marketing to organize communications with channel partners, including conferences, meetings and trainings.
Who you are
· You have a strong background in Partner/Channel Management
· Minimum a bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent
· We believe you are a business-oriented person that is eager to learn.
· You are results orientated with a real focus on achieving targets.
· You have the ability to manage ambiguity and scale effectively across a large organization.
· Long-term strategic thinking, balanced with near-term execution skills.
· Ability to distil complex data into a meaningful and coherent story.
· As this role is in an international matrix organization, excellent communication skills are highly valued, and networking is part of your DNA.
