Samsung is now looking for a Channel Marketing Lead to join our growing marketing team based in our Norwegian Office in Oslo. You will work closely together with the marketing team locally and in the Nordics as well as the key account managers to assist our channel partners in every marketing related aspect and making sure that Samsungs brand presence and all campaigns are executed optimally.
Key Accountabilities:
• Represent Samsung marketing and brand interests and build relationship with our main partner´s marketing and sales operations and teams
• Responsible for creating a marketing plan for our products within selected main partners, mainly one operator and one retailer, as part of a team of three channel marketing leads.
• Together with a customer dedicated Key account manager you will plan promotions and campaigns, and secure that the campaigns are executed and visible according to plan. You will create dedicated product launch plans for your partners and secure the best product launches in our industry.
• Negotiate, plan, execute and optimize marketing plans with MX (Telecom) customers to maximize visibility, sales and deliver growth of in-house shares.
• Integrate, implement and engage Samsung and our offers in every Customer > Shopper touch point: in-store, Online, Offline
• You will brief advertising agencies and media agencies with budget responsibility.
• You will proof read and localize marketing assets needed to launch products and execute promotion campaigns in line with Samsung brand.
• Coordinate ongoing brand and marketing activities.
• Additionally you will either be responsible or support in other local marketing projects, as a local project manager.
• You will work in team with Channel Marketing, Retail Marketing, Social Media, PR and Sales. You will report to local marketing manager.
Your profile:
Suitable Background:
• • 3-4 years´ experience within Customer/Channel Marketing is an advantage but not mandatory
• University degree within marketing and communications is preferred
• Previous experience from consumer electronics business is an advantage but not mandatory
• Media and customer campaign planning experience as well as insight into local media landscape is an advantage
• Event, project management and other execution experience is an advantage
• Fluency in Norwegian and English is mandatory incl. strong Norwegian grammar skills
In the role, it is important that you are a business oriented doer with both structured and analytical mindset as well as good social skills. You understand the big picture but also have attention to detail. You are creative in problem-solving and marketing and are able to manage multiple priorities and very short deadlines.
