Arbetsbeskrivning
As Chauffeur, takes all precautions to ensure the personal safety of the passengers while traveling on official business by automobile in Sweden.Drives the Staff on official business (function meetings and likewise).As required, incumbent will make deliveries as well.
Maintenance of Motor Vehicles
Responsible for ensuring that motor pool vehicles are clean and properly maintained by checking battery, oil and gasoline, tire pressure and other recommended maintenance items.Report any mechanical deficiencies to the motor pool supervisor.Includes logging and reporting of costs for driving vehicles (gasoline, oils, fluids, etc.) and for keeping them clean (washing, waxing), service and checking (take vehicles in for maintenance, service and repairs).Also includes telephone calls and paperwork related to above duties.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
.Completion of secondary school
.Minimum 2 years of experience as a chauffeur or in another full-time driving position in Stockholm area.
.Post Entry Training -Advances security training course
.Language Proficiency level 3 in English and Swedish
.The incumbent must hold a driving license class BC.Extensive knowledge about Stockholm and its surroundings is needed.Though knowledge of the mechanical functions of vehicles that are being used at this mission.
.Must be able to operate a motor vehicle smooth and safely.Have basic computer knowledge.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
This position is available to Swedish nationals or permanent legal residents as well as to American citizens with permanent residence permits in Sweden, under the terms of the Rockefeller amendment authorizing Embassies to hire Americans abroad for Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
Applicants are selected for appointment on the basis of education, experience, and suitability for the position to be filled.
The selected applicant is subject to medical clearance and limited security investigation and clearance.
