Jacob & Gabriel is situated in the centre of Skien, located in Telemark, south east of Norway. Skien is a city in constant growt. We are located close to the seaide and the mountains, with nature close by - at the same time we have a sentral position and are close to the main capital Oslo and Torp airport.
We are a restaurant with 60 seats, and a bar area. We serve set menus and a small a la carte, based on local produce of the season. Our kitchen is mainly influenced by French cuisine, but with both Nordic and continental touch.
We have the districts best wine cellar, and a bar with a good selection of gins. The restaurant has been around since 2010, and is for many, the best restaurant in the area.
We are a young and energetic team, with a lot of different nationalities. We can offer a creative and including environment for the right person.
We have good values and a good position in the town, and are known for many people for our good quality.We are working to adapt to the changing times - as well as we are working on new project and expanding our restaurants.

Job description
You will have great opportunities to grow and develop as a chef. For the right person it´s possible to work yourself up to a position as sous chef or head chef, on our different venues. We invest in our team, and like to recrute from our own staff.

Skills:
You need to be ambitious and hard working. Your need to speak and understand English, as we are a team woth many nationalities.
We value the interest and passion for food and flavours.
