Chefs for restaurant close to nature

About the position
We are currently looking for additional chefs for the summer season, which means May to September.
At Granö Beckasin, you will be part of our team and prepare food for our KRAV-certified restaurant. KRAV is the Swedish certification system for organic and sustainable food. Here in Granö, our restaurant is situated at the river shore and surrounded by forest. Nature is what inspires us. You enjoy natural food creation and inspiring tastes. As part of our small team, you will work in close contact with the head chef and sous-chef. We help and support each other while creating unique experiences for our guests. Granö Beckasin is a hub for ecotourism in Västerbotten and our restaurant is the result of passionate work towards a vision to promote local ingredients and food traditions.
You got previous experience of à la carte cooking and can handle all parts of a restaurant kitchen. Thanks to your solution-focused mindset you work well by yourself and with the team. As a person, you are stress-resistant and value having control over your work tasks to ensure that they are completed efficiently.
You speak English fluently with our foreign guests and colleagues. German and Dutch are a plus. You are responsible for yourself, your colleagues and your work and always put our guests first.
We offer seasonal employment on a 75-100% basis from May to September. These terms can be discussed and adapted to some degree, so feel free to ask!
We have a collective working agreement with the possibility of individual wage setting. Accommodation options are available. In your free time, it is possible to borrow outdoor equipment and enjoy activities like hiking, fishing or canoeing.
