About the role
In this role you will be reporting to, and working closely with, the CEO of Universum and be a part of the Leadership Team consisting of eight members. Universum is part of StepStone Group, which also means that you will be collaborating and cooperating with several stakeholders and peers from the group on a regular basis. As Chief People Officer, you will have personnel responsibility for two HR-managers, a Talent Acquisition Partner and a HR-Coordinator.
The role is based in Stockholm and means that you have full ownership of the HR strategy and processes alongside the HR yearly calendar. As CPO, you will be responsible for internal communication and provide both managers and the organization with support in all people related matters. This means leading and supporting the organizational development alongside collaborating with stakeholders within StepStone Group to ensure that new processes/tools are set-up in adherence to group-wide initiatives. People engagement, attraction and budget adherence will also be some of the responsibilities in this role.
About you
We are looking for someone who has approximately 10 years of professional HR experience across the full employee lifecycle (broad HR generalist knowledge), with a minimum of 3 years in a manager position that has been part of a leadership team. Apart from this, we are looking for who is experienced in:
- Operating in international, fast-paced environments and diverse teams
- Organizational development and change management
- Labor law (mainly Swedish, but any additional country is a plus)
- Talent management and performance management
- People motivation/engagement
- People development and learning
- People economics
- Sales Incentive structures is a plus
To be successful in this role you have an understanding for supporting HR-initiatives with people economics and working closely with a CFO. You will need an ability to operate independently and bring value together with inspiration to others. You have a willingness to try new things and adapt to different situations. You are able to provide a voice of reason and stand strong in the tempest - with a warm heart and a cool head! Your "can-do" attitude means that you are comfortable with the unknown alongside being able to rely on process design and implementing new ways of working. You know when to stand your ground and be pragmatic but also have a curious and self-motivated mindset. Your previous international experience, together with your strong communication combined with stakeholder management skills ensure that you have advanced presentation skills, both in person and written text. Project management is something you enjoy and are well adept in!
For this role, you will need the following:
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in HR or behavior science
- Fluent English written and oral is mandatory. Additional languages is a plus
- Skills in Excel and PowerPoint (intermediate)
