We're looking for a Chemical Engineer for our Production Equipment department in Stockholm, who are developing, manufacturing, and delivering production equipment primarily aimed for CVD- and PVD coating and sintering of cemented carbide inserts for our production units worldwide. Your mission
In this role, you actively develop and implement technical solutions for process facilities. Some of your responsibilities include:
Designing and adapting process equipment configuration to suit the product range and the process technologies involved. You contribute with your knowledge and understanding in process chemistry and technology. As safety and reliability of the technical solutions are crucial, these aspects are central in your work and the environmental and economic aspects are a natural part of the work.
Designing and adapting process equipment and technical solutions for large-scale manufacturing, plan, implement and test technical solutions to specific parts of or to a complete equipment. You are expected to take an active part in the work at customer sites globally.
Troubleshooting when problem occurs with delivered equipment, propose and implement corrective measures to the same.
Networking internally with stakeholders, for example customers within production- and R&D- units and suppliers identifying possibilities for future improvement and development of the equipment. Take part in long-term strategic planning of the development of the equipment.
The role is based in Västberga, Stockholm – and you'll have the opportunity to work a few days a week remotely.
Your profile
We're looking for someone with an engineering degree in a relevant field such as Chemistry, Process Engineering or Materials Engineering. You have a minimum of three years of experience from a similar role. It's a plus if you have knowledge about product development or production technology related to chemical processes in industrial operations and experience controlling and regulating processes in an industrial environment. You have a good knowledge of ordinary IT environments such as Office 365, knowledge and experience in process control systems, process data evaluation or different calculation programs, for instance in fluid-dynamics or statistics are beneficial. Our corporate language is English, and we expect good written and verbal English skills. It's a plus if you already know or are open to learn work related Swedish.
