Chemical Engineer to Mycronic

As a Chemistry Engineer at Mycronic you are responsible for development of new solder paste capability for Mycronic’s Jet Printing platform. The position suits you who are curious and have a big interest in working analytically and independently. OM TJÄNSTEN
You will be part of a team developing the next generation of solder paste for Mycronic’s products, cooperating with our international solder paste suppliers and partners. The team of Jet Technology are a developing and engaging team of 10 people. They are now in search for a new colleague to join their team as a Chemical Engineer as their current colleague is off to new challenges.

In the position as a Chemical Engineer, you will have a close collaboration with their Expert in Complex Fluids, Jetting Architect, Senior Engineer as well as Junior Engineers. Together with the team you will develop and improve the Jet Printing machine. The team works with highly developed technology and are characterized by an atmosphere where all perspectives and ideas are of great value. As a team you create the best path to move forward.

"You will get the chance to work at the forefront of Mycronic’s ejector technology, helping to develop new jetting fluid formulations together with suppliers for various customer applications. You will be able to organize your own tests, design new experimental methods and build new knowledge around material characterization and jetting technology. Each day is different, where you can be in the lab running tests, coordinating a formulation release process with the team, collaborating with suppliers or meeting customers requiring assistance."

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
As a Chemistry Engineer you:


* Are responsible for development and qualifying of new solder paste and other media in Mycronic’s Jet Printing platform for electronics manufacturing. This is done in close collaboration with their global partner network of solder paste manufacturers.
* Participate in specification and review of requirements.
* Plan and carry out the test required for qualifying new media and paste.
* Drive Mycronic’s knowledge and test methods forward regarding media properties and how it relates to jetting quality.
* Share knowledge with the Jet Technology group and together build on the knowledge to take the next steps.
* Will be responsible to deliver on the project milestones within the Jet Technology release program.
* Report status to project management and escalate any deviations from plan.
* Support and keep continuous dialogue with both clients and with Mycronic’s internal organization concerning new and on-going suppliers


VI SÖKER DIG SOM
- MSc Chemical engineering, Material chemistry or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge and interest within inorganic or soft matter chemistry.
- Experience in material characterization such as rheology or particle analysis.
- Knowledge within Matlab /programming.
- Knowledge in metallurgy, formulation chemistry and fluid dynamics is of merit.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken. It’s of merit if you have knowledge within Swedish, Chinese, Japanese or Korean.
