Cytiva is expanding its Technical Support organization to further strengthen our large-scale chemical manufacturing operations. As part of this expansion, we are forming a brand-new team of engineers with the objective of supporting the growing organization with technical support on how to design and build safe and efficient chemical processes. Once complete, the Technical Office team will consist of a number of engineers with the experience and skills to lead the manufacturing organization on its path to fulfil the customer need of high-quality product. As Chemical Process Design Leader at Cytiva, you will work closely with functions such as quality assurance, validation, maintenance, project managers and EHS to support this expansion. What you’ll do
Support the manufacturing organization with expertise in the areas of Chemical Manufacturing Processes, Chemical Engineering, and System Design.
Create and implement design principles and specifications to be used in CAPEX projects.
Establish ways of working that facilitate project execution and maintenance.
Provide your experience and subject matter expertise as an individual but work as part of a team.
Contribute to building a sustainable, efficient, and supportive technical support organization.
Who you are
Engineering degree within Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, or similar. Alternatively, you have extensive work life experience from similar roles within the process industry.
Knowledgeable Engineer or Project Manager with at least 10 years of experience working within the Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, Fine Chemicals, Oil & Gas, or Food industry.
Subject matter expertise within process technology, process component material specifications and standards, cleanroom design, HVAC, water system design, cleaning processes and CIP/SIP is desired.
You are no stranger to acronyms like GxP, ASME BPE, PED, USP, FDA, QMS, CE, IP, UL, AFS, FMEA, HAZID, HAZOP, LEAN, ATEX and you know just what it means to stay regulatory compliant.
Fluency in both Swedish and English is required for this role.
You have a deep-rooted customer focus and proven ability to provide solutions that fulfil customer needs.
You have a knack for structure and understand the need for documentation.
