About the position
Would you like to be part of a solution that will make a great difference for the nitrogen cleaning and recovery industry? One of our customers in Copenhagen is working with an important chemical process project, which changes this! As part of this project we are now looking for a Chemical Process Operator to work on a consultancy assignment. The project will lead to a full-scale commercial solution where findings from the project will be the source for changes and adaptations.
Responsibilities
As a Chemical Process Operator you will be part of a small team, always working in pairs or three to safely perform the work. You will work on:
• Operate and monitor the process and control system on site at the wastewater treatment plant, to ensure efficient and safe output
• Follow standard operating procedures to identify and resolve issues during processing
• Troubleshoot and solve problems with equipment
• Respond to system notifications and makes required adjustments as needed
• Perform maintenance as and when needed
• Follow all procedures for safe material handling and required safety gear
• Perform measurements and analyses
Your profile
Essential for the role:
• Hands-on experience
• Experience of chemical process operation
• Problem solver and have a logical thinking mind-set
• Understanding and putting the safety regulations first
• Excellent English, both spoken and in writing
About the organisation
This is a consultant assignment at our customer in Copenhagen from April to September, with vacation during July. During this assignment you will be employed by Poolia Denmark. The customer is R&D intensive and has developed several patented processes for recovering valuable materials from waste flows. The company can be found in the Nordic countries and offers a range of solutions that help solve some of today's toughest and most critical problems relating to for example the recovery of phosphorus from sewage sludge, and the extraction of commercial salts from fly ash from waste incineration.
