Chemical Sorting Specialist - Hazardous Waste

Main duties:

- Independently carry out sorting tasks at the customer and internally such as classifying, sorting, and labelling hazardous waste/dangerous goods

- Be helpful in ensuring that the transport of hazardous waste/dangerous goods is carried out in accordance with current regulations

- Responsible for documentation and reporting of delivery from customers

- Training and advice regarding hazardous waste and hazardous goods both internally and at the customer

- Responsible for/participating in specific customer projects that affect the business and sorting operations

- Participate in downstream solutions regarding the sorting operations

- Be helpful to the organization with safety checks of high-voltage batteries before transport

- Work according to the goals agreed with the immediate manager

- Participate in the branch's work environment, quality and safety work

- Contribute to a good working environment, good health and a good working climate

- Constantly work for a safe, efficient and clean workplace and maintain order and order

- To perform the above tasks in accordance with laws, regulations and regulations as well as the company's policies, guidelines and routines

- In addition to the above tasks, the employee may be expected to perform other tasks that are relevant to the business

Education/theoretical knowledge

- The position requires high school education or other education equivalent to high school level (2), preferably with a natural science or technical focus

- Completed the company's internal training as a Chemist sorting specialist within FA alt. by Business area Hazardous waste Chemical specialists considered experience that meets the requirements for Chemist sorting specialist

- ADR driver training

- Good knowledge of chemical sorting/Certified chemical sorter

- Good knowledge of battery handling/Battery training (in case of internal recruitment)

- Training pressurized vessels (in case of internal recruitment)

- B driver's license

- Driver's license for mechanical equipment at the facility

- Good knowledge of English both spoken and written

- Basic computer skills

- Knowledge of the material/waste types as well as machines and equipment that we handle.

Meritorious:

- Very good knowledge of dangerous goods

- Knowledge of explosive objects and substances in waste management

- Superintendent of explosive substances

Experience:

- The position requires 1-4 years of relevant professional experience

- Knowledge of legislation for the transport of dangerous goods

- Safety work regarding work with chemicals linked to transport legislation.
