Job Description
Do you have a passion for Beauty products and have an interest in working with assurance of product quality and compliance? Do you have experience from cosmetic product industry or from working within the field of quality? Are you a team player with a can-do attitude? Do you like a fast pace? Then you should apply for this exciting role in our team.
Within Beauty Production we are working with all brands within H&M Group who develop and produce private label cosmetics; we now need to strengthen the Quality team located in Sweden with one more Chemist.
H&M Group does not own any factories or production plants; instead H&M Group works with several independent cosmetic contract manufacturers located mainly in EU and Asia. As a Chemist you are responsible for securing product quality and compliance from product brief to launch and on market. You will be working close together with our in-house chemist team, Quality Manager, Merchandisers, Product Developers, Marketing and our contract manufacturers.
The main responsibilities within the role are:
Work closely with the team to secure the quality of the products from both safety and efficacy point of view
Work proactively to prevent quality issues and improve quality routines and methods
Understand H&M chemical requirements and ensure that all requirements are followed
Educate, evaluate and support suppliers on how to comply with H&M Group's requirements
Work closely with the team on new product developments
Support product registration
Perform risk assessment
Review documents such as INCI, PI files etc.

Qualifications
We see that you:
Hold a degree in Chemistry
3-5 years of working experience from the Cosmetic industry; within product development, quality assurance, quality control, regulatory affairs, or from quality assurance/quality control in an adjacent industry (e.g. food, pharmaceutical)
Outgoing and enjoy teamwork
Hold analytical skills
Organized person and can manage documentation, materials and sometimes complex information
Hold a proactive approach and a positive mindset
Love to learn new things and are eager to support the team

This a full-time, permanent contract based in Stockholm, Sweden.
