Chemist with experience in surface chemistry

We are looking for a driven, dedicated, and organized chemist. The right person has excellent knowledge in surface chemistry and have experience in the industrial fabrication of functionalized surfaces for life science applications.

About the job


You will be a part of the R&D team that consists of ~20 people. You will be responsible for surface development, for the establishment of a manufacturing line and for product QC.

You will be responsible for planning your own projects, design and execute experiments, as well as analyze and interpret the results to support project decisions and milestones



Your profile


To fit the role, you must have a Bachelor's in chemistry and preferably a Master’s in materials science or surface chemistry.

The ideal candidate has industrial experience in the fabrication of chemically modified surfaces for life science applications. Good understanding of organic chemistry synthesis processes and practical experience of chemical, mechanical and statistical methods relevant in manufacturing. Experience in surface RnD is a merit.

Fluency in written and spoken English as well as excellent communication and computer skills are a requirement. It is important that you have extensive laboratory experience and enjoy bench work.
