We are looking for our new Chief Accountant

As Chief Accountant you will be responsible for the accounting records and their accuracy including to ensure and execute local accounting, financial management and compliance for all legal entities. You are also to ensure completion of all statutory and compliance reporting, which will include consolidation of WirelessCar Group. You will be part of a close-knit Finance team consisting of two Accountants, two Business Controllers and the CFO. Together with our Business Controllers, you will steer the day-to-day work within Finance in close cooperation with the CFO. As Chief Accountant, you will also coordinate and facilitate the audit work. You will have the freedom to design the work methods and best way of working that you believe WirelessCar and our Finance team will benefit from.

Key responsibilities

- Ensure and execute local accounting, financial management and compliance for all legal entities.
- Ensure accurate and timely consolidated financial reporting and compliance.
- Manage and develop processes and optimal utilization connected to both local accounting, reporting and consolidation.
- Develop, implement and maintain policies, guidelines and instructions for reporting purposes in accordance with internal and external requirements.
- Prepare and distribute financial reports to meet management demands and external requirements.
- In the role you will be functional responsible for the accounting function towards staff in Sweden and our partners in China, U.S and Germany.

Who are you?

We believe that you have minimum 10 years’ experience in financial accounting and have worked as Chief Accountant or Financial Manager the last years. You are open-minded, flexible and thrive under challenging and changing conditions. As person you are a curious, innovative and an analytical problem solver that also enjoy teamwork and have an inclusive approach to your work. To be on top of things, you have a desire to understand our business and wants to learn the driving mechanism behind our success. You also carry a great knowledge with working with annual reports and find yourself self-propelled in the daily business and show high integrity. We are working with SAP S/4HANA public cloud, so it is a big advantage if you have experience from the SAP environment. You speak and writes in Swedish and English, which is a requirement due to contacts with authorities in Sweden and abroad. Hope we have caught your attention.
