Record to Report Chief Accountant


SKF has established Finance Operation centers supporting all SKF units globally. We have an exciting future ahead of us towards a clear Finance strategy road map. Finance will have a powerful role related to a lean, efficient and digital environment, and we are aiming to be in the frontline of next generation Business Finance.


The Finance Function at SKF in Sweden includes Record to Report, Purchase to Pay, Order to Cash and Financial Controlling. We are now looking for a Chief Accountant to join our Record to Report team where you will be responsible for the legal reporting for one or more SKF entities.


Key responsibilities
Accountable for the legal reporting for one or several legal entities served by the sub-region incl. responsibility for local regulatory requirements
Ensure compliance from a legal and corporate governance perspective
Responsible for coordinating the external audit of the legal entities
Organize and review month end closing and reporting
Drive and coordinate reporting improvements within the SKF Strategy and use SKF Business excellence as the tool to reach future goals
Interacts with Finance manager for the legal entity



Requirements
Master’s degree in Finance and Accounting or similar
Broad experience in Finance or accounting in a global company- SSC/BPO structures preferred
Finance process oriented and have broad experience in SAP or other ERP systems
Computer literacy is essential and experience in MS office applications (excellent command of MS Excel is a must)
Expert in IFRS, Swedish GAAP and similar local framework(K3)
Fluent English is mandatory

Location: Gothenburg, Sweden. Local contract in SKF Sweden
