Do you want to work for the world’s largest food and beverage company and take on a key role within finance for Sweden? Are you result-oriented with a good knowledge about the Swedish Financial Statements Act as well as of IFRS? Fantastic, then we are looking for the power of you as our new Chief Accountant for Sweden!
What's it like to work here?
You will be joining a multi-cultured and energectic team of Finance Professionals whom are all on the same mission and that is bringing value to our business. The Nordic Financial Services team consists of four Chief Accountants and an AR/AP specialist. Our Finance organization is fast-moving and professional, but with an informal and collegial tone.
In this role, you will be able to create a large network across global functions and the local organization. Since you will be working towards different deadlines and projects, the workload will shift up and down over time based on your assignments and responsibilities.
You report to our Nordic Financial Services Manager, who is also based in our head office in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Your future challenges
As our new Chief Accountant you will be responsible for:
Overseeing and making sure that our Nestlé Sverige AB accounts are reconciled and up to date.
Being SPOC for certain accounting processes across our Nordic entities.
Being the bridge in accounting matters between the local organization on one side and our internal financial shared service centers abroad on the other side and vice versa.
Being involved in the day-to-day finance and accounting operations including review & approval of payment vouchers & journal entries.
Being responsible for annual accounts of Nestlé Sverige AB
Being responsible for timely quarterly financial reporting to Nestlé Headquarters in Switzerland.
Ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations within finance.
Ensuring that financial guidelines of the Nestlé Group are followed.
Local point of contact for external audit.
Participate in and drive business excellence projects.
Who are you?
We believe that you have a minimum of 3 years of experience within accounting or audit combined with a university degree, preferably within Business Administration, Economics or Finance. You also have a good knowledge about the Swedish Financial Statements Act as well as of IFRS.
You are an experience user of Microsoft Office and in particular Microsoft Excel. Previous working experience with SAP is highly regarded and experience from the FMCG business is seen as an advantage. You are fluent in Swedish and English, verbally as well as in writing.
