Purpose of the role: - Financial Reporting and Compliance.Preparation and presentation of group consolidated financial results, including monthly and quarterly internal accounts and half yearly and full year statutory reporting.Also includes taxation and treasury functions; - Other external reporting requirements such as to the SCB statistics body; - Risk and Control.Responsible for maintenance and ongoing development of the control and risk environment throughout the organization; - People Management.Management of BAS financial accounting team of three staff.Functions include accounts payable and general accounting; - Planning.Involvement in review process of forecasts / budgets (where applicable); Key responsibilities: - Prepare and review BAS consolidated monthly / quarterly internal accounts and external (half and full year) for presentation to Head of Finance within agreed timeframe; - Preparation and submission of CBAS tax returns in compliance with applicable legislation; - Preparation and execution of BAS treasury function in liaison with group treasury - Ensure ongoing compliance to Group Finance policies, and other applicable financial, corporate, tax and audit legislation.Includes preparing papers on new or changed accounting treatments, training impacted staff and implementing changes as required; - Contact with group controllers for presentation and analysis of results; - Responsible for maintenance and efficiencies of transactional and reporting systems to produce quality, reliable and timely internal reports; - Responsible for maintenance of financial controls in the organization.Includes performing routine internal audits and assessment of the control environment - Responsible for preparation and compliance to internal and external financial audits and/or risk reviews; - Develop and maintain the Business continuity plan for the Financial Reporting function; - Participate in review of forecasts / budgets for all business units with Head of Finance where applicable.Example, preparing changes in accounting treatment, review of transfer pricing arrangement; Key Requirements: - Qualification in accounting or other post-grad finance discipline with 5-10 years commercial experience.Would suit person with professional chartered background; - Background in Manufacturing Environment and/or medical devices industry; - Up to date with relevant compliance requirements and legislation - Experience in Tier 1 systems including ERP (preferably Oracle), BI (preferably Hyperion) -Strong command of English (written and verbal) and experience working in a multinational organization; - Demonstrated ability to manage a team and/or lead major projects; Application and Contact: This recruitment is managed by Flexlife AB.Please apply through www.flexlife.se.Submit your application as soon as possible.Interviews will be held continuously.
