Are you a good communicator, change leader, team player and enjoy working in a flexible environment? Maybe you are our new Chief Accountant for Volvo Financial Services AB (VFS AB)?
In this role as Chief Accountant for VFS AB you will work in close co-operation with different functions at VFS, which will give you a broad understanding of the VFS business and operation. You will have the possibility to work with and learn more about additional areas than your own area of expertise and to build a strong network both within FCA and VFS. VFS AB is a shareholding legal entity acting as the regional headquarter of VFS Europe North & Central, including parts of the VFS Global headquarter. By being a center for management and coordination, VFS AB plays an important role in making it possible for Business area VFS to globally support Volvo in creating customer value by offering competitive financial solutions.


As Chief Accountant you will report to Head of FCA AB Volvo & Volvo Treasury.


Key responsibilities
Responsibility for the accounting records and accuracy within the legal entity VFS AB in close collaboration with your colleagues in Accounting Services in Poland and India responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable and financial reporting
Ensure completion of all statutory and compliance reporting and secure an overall alignment of operational results with VFS business decisions
Provide internal and external parties with meaningful, accurate and timely legal entity financial information
Digital Champion for the team, i.e. drive efficiency and effectiveness for the legal accounting flow and our ways of working through digitalization
Participation in IT-projects

Educational qualifications and experience
University degree in Business Administration or similar education and minimum of five years of advanced experience in the field of accounting
Good knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP
Excellent ability to communicate, engage and drive toward a target vision
Fluent in written and spoken Swedish and English
Advanced skills in VGCS, SAP R/3, Essbase, Microsoft Office and Power BI are considered an advantage
