ioicomms.io is a SaaS platform company with global scale. We are looking to hire a Chief Customer Architect that will be important in the next step of the company's growth journey. As a Chief Customer Architect at iotcomms.io you will work on designing, describing, and demonstrating solutions based on our cloud communications platform, for B2B customers and prospects anywhere in the world.
How you will contribute
As Chief Customer Architect you will work closely with our customers with the design and architecture of their solutions based on our platform. You will play a lead role before, during and after the implementation, leading technical workshops, identifying customer business requirements, mapping these to our solution, pointing out potential issues and risks early in the projects, and providing guidance to the client for a successful implementation. You will be working on a variety of projects for a diverse range of customers.
You will also be involved in cross-functional initiatives to increase awareness of our existing product portfolio, and the launch of new products and services. You will collaborate closely with commercial and technical teams to highlight the ways iotcomms.io meets customer needs. You will have an important role in supporting both customer success and sales productivity and contribute to the development and success of any new service or product launch.
As a Chief Customer Architect, you will help us to:
- Create presentations and demonstrations for prospects and customers
- Design solutions and lead pre-study work with customers
- Work closely with customers to understand their requirements, map those requirements to iotcomms.io and help design innovative technical solutions to meet their need
- Create professional architecture specifications for customers
- Provide guidance to customers throughout implementation projects
- Help communicating the value proposition and use cases for our platform and translate technical platform capabilities into business benefits, through content such as: - Articles and blog posts
- How-to guides
- Reference architecture and descriptions
- Work closely with the product marketing team around product releases and communicate the value new functionality creates for customers
How you qualify for the position
Our platform is a cloud-based Communications Platform (cPaaS) built in AWS and we work with technologies such as SIP and WebRTC. We have a SaaS business model and deliver building blocks for alarm, voice & video services to industries such as Health & Social Care, Smart Buildings, Internet of Things, Unified Communication and Alarm Industries.
This opportunity is scoped for a good communicator and networker who are self-directed, results-oriented, highly collaborative and organized. You have experience from successfully creating solution architecture and present it to different levels of technical and business stakeholders - such as tech leads, business developers, product owners and R&D. You are dedicated in driving progress over time and delivering value to our customers and company.
The key characteristics we are looking for are:
- Experience leading engagements with both business and technical stakeholders
- Strong communication skills and ability to understand key requirements and articulate a solution to Prospects and Customers
- Prior background as software developer or having personal interest of software development and
- Understand REST APIs and related software architectures
- Comfortable running technical workshops, pre-study work and demo sessions
