We are strengthening our data and analytics capability and are now looking for a

Chief Data Officer (CDO) Capio Nordics

Capio’s strategy is focused on Specialization, Digitalization and Consolidation to enhance medical quality and growth. To realize all aspects of the strategy we need to capitalize on our data and broaden our use of it. The CDO will have a responsibility of Capio Nordic enterprise wide data and information strategy, governance, control, policy development and effective exploitation of data. Furthermore, the CDO has a responsibility to drive Capio’s data and analytics strategy and align it on enterprise level, across all business areas. On enterprise level, the CDO is expected to partner with the corresponding function at Ramsay Santé.

Operating responsibilities includes:

- Lead the data and analytics agenda across Capio Nordics
- Assess the most appropriate operating model and data monetization approach for the business areas
- Define and drive the enterprise-wide analytics vision across strategy, people, process, data and technology dimensions
- Establish and deliver technologies, tools, approaches and methodologies to unlock the value in enterprise data assets
- Manage data as a strategic asset and operationalize data governance, data quality and other controls to sustain the integrity of the data
- Be heavily involved in the business transformation, change and education needed to embed analytics into the culture to allow Capio to become data and insight-driven

The CDO will be responsible for driving and delivering organisational cultural change to enable the organisation to adapt to the modern ways of working and use of information across all domains. The CDO role has line management responsibilities leading the Data and Analytics function which includes the Business Intelligence Product area, Integration and Enterprise Architecture. The position as CDO is organized within Capio Nordics and reports to Capio Nordic CIO.

The person we are looking for

The position is a senior executive role within Capio. We expect you to be able to show prior experience acting as a CDO or in a senior data management position. To succeed in the role, we believe you will benefit from a consultancy background in combination with line management experience. You should consider yourself a catalyst, strategist, technologist and operator and feel comfortable across these dimensions.

You should have a demonstrated experience of:

- Data and Analytics strategy formulation
- Information management process development
- Working knowledge of data and analytics related IT infrastructure/platforms/services – custom developed or packaged – and be able to communicate the value and capabilities they bring

Further you need to have demonstrated ability to develop business cases and performance metrics to secure program funding/resources and to measure business value. Added you have expertise at the intersection of IT, risk, finance and business domains. You should have an awareness of the healthcare, or other, regulatory environment to help enable compliance and risk management through effective use of data. As Applicant you should also have an understanding in organizational design and the ability to shape and drive large-scale, cross-functional, programs around people, technology, processes, and tools, balancing long-term strategy with quick wins. Finally, the ability to sell the data agenda and educate cross-functional stakeholders and serving as a change agent for the organization to overcome cultural resistance is a must have.

You have a relevant M.Sc. University degree plus a minimum of 10 years of experience within the data management or equivalent area. The assignment requires that you master English as well as the Swedish language in speech and writing.
