BNP Paribas Cardif provides insurance solutions on the Nordic markets through banks, finance and insurance companies. The largest product group is creditor insurance. The objective for the BNP Paribas Cardif Nordic group is to create long-term relationships with its partners, and the business model optimizes each step in the value chain to create and continuously increase customer and partner value.
Data being in the core of our strategy, we are now looking for a Data and Process Officer to join us at our Nordic Head Office in Gothenburg. In this role, you will have the authority on the data governance framework and be in charge of our process performances, aligned with our goals and strategy. Your strong business expertise, data knowledge, and experience in process optimization will come well at hand. This is a new role in our organization, which gives opportunity to influence the role and its development. You will report directly to our COO/CIO.


In this role you will
The main responsibilities of this role is divided into two areas: data governance and process performance.
Data governance
Set the strategic vision and direction on data to support business strategy.
Define and set up the organization for data governance.
Steer the data quality management framework, in particular by managing an effective escalation and remediation process.
Promote sharing of systems and processes in the data quality management community.
Report a global vision on data topics.
Permanently align with regulatory requirements, requirements from our Head Office and the policies and norms from the BNP Paribas Group.
Process performance
Measure process efficiency, e.g. define KPIs and KRIs, mapp and assess current business processes and ways of working.
Identify weak points and improvement areas using available sources (customer voice, incidents, complaints etc) to identify process improvements.
Optimize existing processes to reach the targets set, placing data in the center of each exercice.
Implement a process transformation mindset in the company, including createing and enhancing a methodology on process improvement.
Ensure operational risks are identified and addressed.


Your qualifications
Data knowledge – you have a global knowledge of data handling in a company, such as its major challenges, processes or regulatory framework
Project management – anticipate, plan and roll out a project, from end-to-end, respecting time and resource constraints (both budget and people)
You have experience in process improvement and optimization, using methodologies such as lean or six sigma from project managering
Insurance knowledge - Knowledge of the insurance market, the main actors, clients, activities, products & services
Risk knowledge & awareness - Global knowledge of risks, their major processes or regulatory framework
You have an Ability to understand, explain and support organizational and cultural change as well as business transformation.
Educational background - preferably in the fields of engineering
Fluent in English, both in writhing and speaking. Swedish is a merit.
