Our Creative Design department within the Mobility Design Tribe, is building a dedicated team for innovation and creation.

We have a committed passion to create and deliver iconic and desirable global products and services suitable for volume production.

We are working in an international environment with close collaboration with our colleagues in Shanghai. The product range we work with involve both Hengchi automotive products and vehicles for mobility solutions. The Interior Chief Designer, will lead the interior work within Creative Design, reporting to the Creative Director. The work also includes contributing with design work for all areas when needed, creating design solutions from initial concept through to final production execution, in close cooperation with the whole team.

      

The role involves:

- Working closely with the team to build a good team spirit and team performance
- Act as representative for Creative Design regarding Interior
- Collaborate with and support design teams within Nevs and Evergrande
- Take part in creating our future design vision
- Take part in developing the Strategic Design directions supporting our vision.
- Act as mentor for other members of the team, helping to lift the collective design quality.
- To work with design proposals ranging from initial concept work to final production execution

         

 We are looking for someone who has:

- Knowledge and passion for leading creative processes
- Minimum education of a Master of Science in Transportation Design or equivalent,
- Experience from development in relevant area in the automotive industry, minimum 10 years,
- Full understanding of complete vehicle development process,
- General understanding of manufacturing techniques and knowledge how to balance technical constraints.
- Fluent in English both spoken and written.
- Experience from Asian automotive industry

- Have excellent communication skills, visual and verbal.
- Be flexible and have good cooperation skills
- Have good planning skills and deliver on time.
- Be creative, solution oriented and open minded
