Thule Group continues to grow and we are in the most ambitious period in the company’s history in terms of product development investments in our traditional categories as well as in our newer categories such as Active With Kids (strollers, multifunctional strollers, child bike seats and child carrier backpacks)

To enable this expansion, we are now strengthening our Engineering team with a Chief Engineer within the segment Active With Kids (AWK).

As a Chief Engineer you are technical responsible for a product group within AWK in new development as well as for existing products on the market. You lead the Design Engineering project team within the ongoing development projects in your category. You also take an active part in product portfolio planning for the product category and manage product updates.

In this role you work towards many contacts within and outside the company such as product manager, project manager, production engineering, purchasing, quality, industrial design and suppliers

Your profile: 

To enjoy your new organization you need a pro-active and entrepreneurial personality who thrives in a high speed and team oriented environment. We trust you have a structured and professional approach with flexibility in mind.

You have an academic engineering degree and minimum five years of relevant work experience in design engineering or product development of serial production products.
You have 3D-CAD (preferable Solidworks) and PDM-system competence.

You are confident in coordinating multiple technical tasks as well as motivating team members in their daily engineering work. Fluency in English is required

About our Global Product Development Department:

We have over 120 engineers working in our Global Product Development Department and to keep the momentum in successful product development innovation, most of our Product Development functions are in-house, such as project managers, industrial designers, concept-, design-, prototype-, simulation- and test-engineers.

Our team consists of highly skilled and motivated members with a well-balanced variety of experiences. We are a truly global company with an international and multi culturally mixed team. English is the language we use in our daily communication.
