We are proud product owners for components, systems as well as complete powertrains. We are accountable for the lifecycle management of our products, from advanced engineering, through product development into the maintenance phase. The majority of our powertrain components are traditional combustion engines, after treatment systems, transmissions and axles however the importance of e-mobility components is growing every day.


We stand in front of significant changes – where reducing transport emitted CO2 emissions is one of the biggest – and are now adapting to take this on by simplifying and empowering our organization and way of working. Responsibilities / Main tasks
The PE Sweden organization has the full responsibility for Platform Center Heavy Duty Engines, Transmission as well as Application Center Heavy Duty Europe. Included in PE Sweden is also our office in Malmö. The organization takes the product ownership role and optimizes complete powertrain systems through usage of components tailored for each application. PE Sweden is a large organization consisting of roughly 750 passionate employees in Gothenburg and Malmö.


As Chief Engineer for Powertrain Engineering Sweden, you will have the responsibility for:
Product platform technical roadmap, manage the architecture and modification request of the platform globally in collaboration with system and complete powertrain product owners, chief engineers at application centers as well as external stakeholders
Arbitration in case of conflict between different applications and/or system

Your first task will be to dig into current technology strategies and choices and related plans. You will have to reconfirm or adjust the organizational structure for the site, together with your colleagues in the PE Sweden Leadership team. PE Sweden is organized in product systems, Complete Powertrain and a agile way of working.

You have deep knowledge and experience in the automotive industry and especially within the area of forefront technology development/research in the Powertrain domain
You have many years experience in leadership positions and management team roles
Your leadership is characterized by business-orientation in combination with passion, trustworthiness and bravery. We are looking for someone to take responsibility and create engagement for breaking new ground and forming the future together with us
You are holding minimum a Master degree in Engineering or equivalent
