Chief Financial Officer

Your.Rentals is looking for a data driven Chief Financial Officer to join our team in Malmö.
You'll have prior experience from an e-commerce or fintech company, because transactional revenues are at the core of our business.
Your mission will be to create a profitable and sustainable financial roadmap for the company, considering our customers, team, product and processes.
You'll be joining our motivated multi-cultural team counting 20+ nationalities in a scale-up environment based in Malmö and Hanoi. You will report to the CEO and work closely with other team members every day.
What will I be doing?
As CFO you’ll be responsible for ensuring that for our Group companies (Denmark, Sweden, Vietnam) our accounting and finance routines run smoothly in an ever-changing environment. You will consult in planning new product and service initiatives to ensure they have the right financial fundamentals. You'll work in cross-functional teams to plan and execute revenue growth initiatives together with leaders from our product, sales and growth teams.
Responsibilities:
Own and manage our financial processes - including accounting routines, cash flow management, accounts payable and receivable, taxes, payroll, and setting and controlling departmental budgets.
Implement and manage an efficient monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, ensuring that accurate and timely financial reporting is completed for other leaders in the business, the Board and liaising from time to time with major shareholders.
Own and develop our budget model, ensuring that key assumptions, investments and growth initiatives are clearly owned for execution in the business.
Become the guru of our transactional cashflow, developing and refining the model which both forecasts and balances our activities.
Optimise P/L and Balance sheet performance; input into product planning regarding pricing, billing and payment processes.
Manage our accounting team covering Denmark, Sweden and Vietnam.
Ensure tax compliance across borders, including adherence to the EU DAC7 regulations.
Develop and drive the use of financial metrics to support commercial decision making, improving unit economics and drive towards sustainable profitability.



What we are looking for
Necessary experience:
University degree in Finance or Economics (Masters, MBA), with major in Finance/Controlling/Accounting. Or equivalent experience.
At least 5 years experience, most recently in a senior finance role in an e-commerce or fintech company with €10m - €50m+ turnover.
Experience with transactional revenue streams, managing a business with complex forex.
Extensive experience in developing and implementing finance processes, financial modelling and planning.
Use of BI for financial and KPI analysis and dimensioning - by geographic markets, customer segments, cohorts, portfolios, product lines, acquisition sources etc.
Experience working in cross-functional teams with other business leaders and specialists to analyse, plan and track business performance initiatives.
Experience in identifying and managing efficiency projects - for example pricing analysis and margin improvement.
Preparing monthly, quarterly and year end financial statements.

Nice to have experience:
Previous finance responsibility in either a Danish or Swedish company servicing an international market.
Pricing strategies, modelling and analysis.
Working with product owners and software engineers to design financial systems and integrations with accounting systems.
Broader responsibilities, including program management, OKR and managing planning cycles.
