About the Role

The role as CFO is a key role in IST's continued growth journey where you will be responsible for both day-to-day operational and strategic financial issues for the Group. The role is part of Group management and reports to the Group CEO.

The CFO’s areas of responsibility cover many aspects. The position includes having a general financial overview as well as being responsible for the financial strategy, planning, budgeting and forecasting / reporting. You are responsible for investments, such as purchasing and acquisitions, and have an overall responsibility for the Group's contracts in terms of follow-up, quality, information security and margins. You constantly keep profitability in focus and are an important cultural carrier for the company.

Examples of other tasks and responsibilities that are part of the CFO role are:

- Responsibility for financing questions for properties / construction
- Currency exchanges
- Responsibility for ensuring quality of and routines for monthly reports
- Cash flow analyses and accounts
- Liquidity analyses
- Proactive work with performance improvements


The role includes an overall responsibility for our Group-wide support functions - Corporate Services, in which Finance is included - as well as direct personnel responsibility for its five managers. The location of placement is in Växjö, where our headquarters are located. As we have operations in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Germany, some travel is part of working with these countries.



Who are you?

You have previous experience as a CFO or from a similar role. Through your combined experience, you have senior knowledge in consolidated accounting and group management. We want to believe that you are an operational visionary, who is equally interested in the details as you are in the big picture and can quickly switch between strategic thinking and operational action.

We are facing an exciting shift toward even more automated processes and increased digitalization. Through your technical and analytical skills, you will take the lead in the transformation and lead the company toward even more value-creating and forward-looking initiatives.

As IST is present in four markets you have an advantage if you have experience of working in an international context, preferably in the IT sector, as well as experience from IPOs. The company language of choice is English. Very good knowledge of both written and spoken English and Swedish is a requirement.

If you also speak German, this is seen as a merit. The role requires good technical knowledge in IT.

For us, good leadership is an important and prioritized issue and we want you to share that view. You should also have experience of leading and motivating others from previous roles. Your academic background should be a master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or another related field.
