We are looking for a Chief Information Security Officer/CISO for Polypeptide Group.
Polypeptide Group is a one of the world’s largest companies specializing in the manufacturing of therapeutic peptides and related compounds for research and pharmaceutical applications.
The company has production facilities in Sweden, USA, Belgium, Switzerland, France and India with its head office located in Zug, Switzerland.
After recently have gone public, listed on the SIX, Swiss Stock Exchange, they are now seeking to strengthen their strategic work within information- and cybersecurity and is looking for someone for the position as CISO. You will be heading up a newly formed unit within Global IS/IT responsible for compliance and cyber security and reporting to Global Director IS/IT.
As CISO you will be responsible for both developing existing security and build an efficient security foundation that supports the strategic direction of the company. This involves, among other things, responsibility to equip the company with a fit-for-purpose Security Management Framework and Strategy. The position requires someone with a vision and the capability to question the norms, knowledge in how to manage enterprise risks and the ability to lead with assertiveness.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain an effective information security architectural approach, ensuring that the approach is implemented in accordance with appropriate standards.
- Lead information security and enterprise risk management activities that evaluate and prioritize business risks based on business capability exposure.
- Engage with partners in the industry, law enforcement and threat intelligence vendors to share and exchange standard methodologies and relevant information.
- Define metrics and KPI´s and set information security goals and objectives consistent with organization business need, objectives and strategy.
- Provide strategic leadership on the direction of our cybersecurity operations capability and business leadership during major security incidents and issues.
- Liaison with internal audits to maintain a balance between security control compliance and usability.
- Raise information security awareness among management, employees, contractors, and other stake holders.
- Evaluate effectiveness of training & awareness program and continuously upgrade it.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCES AND COMPETENCE THAT ARE MERITORIOUS
- 5+ years of experience in Information Security field of work, preferable within a regulated industry.
- 3+ years of experience in managing position for Information Security teams.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- CCISO, CISSP, CISA, CISM, or other relevant Information Security certifications.
- Expert skills working with ISO/IEC 27001.
- Experience in working with risk assessments and have the capability to translate risk into business & technology terms, taking the language of risk and embed it into a groupwide culture of Security best practice.
- Strong experience in information security management, information management, information systems and/or enterprise risk management.
- Experience working with C-level executives on matters regarding security threats and incidents.
- Experience in working in a global and multinational environment, preferably within manufacturing.
- Fluent verbal and writing skills in Swedish and English.
- Language skills in German and/or French is considered meritorious.
