We’re looking for a seasoned, commercially-minded Chief Marketing Officer to help us scale our marketing team and construct our marketing growth engine. About the role
Be part of the management team and accountable for all marketing initiatives to achieve revenue goals
Hire, grow and develop our kick*ass global marketing function with high-performing revenue marketers so that they are inspired to deliver against marketing & company goals on a daily basis
Give team members the tools, guidance and confidence that will create progressive career tracks for each individual
Own and execute on go-to-market planning, launch planning, pipeline marketing (lead management, lead scoring), data analysis, market research and revenue growth
Manage all aspects of marketing planning, budgeting, metrics and reporting
Develop and manage the marketing budget through comprehensive plans that allow for optimization to ensure activities are effective and deliver successful ROI
Review forecast and manage risks proactively together with our revenue executive team
Collaborate cross-functionally to drive and execute our go-to-market strategy
As a key contributor to the management team, drive and foster true collaboration across teams
Work together with product teams to make the transition into a product-led-growth organization
Required skills and experience
At least 10 years of well-rounded, relevant B2B and SaaS marketing background with strong leadership experience
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate the team
Extensive experience in performance marketing, developing marketing KPIs and metrics, marketing attribution models
Proven ability to develop and execute a strategic marketing plan that leverages data with a comprehensive tactical marketing plan evaluated against business metrics
Hands-on experience in driving from planning to execution of go-to-market strategies, launch planning and pipeline marketing
Strong stakeholders management and cross-functional collaboration skills who is entrepreneurial and excels at both high-level thinking and execution and is effective at managing change in a fast-moving and constantly evolving scale-up
Highly analytical - able to make data-driven decisions and establish effective metrics to approach marketing strategy & spend, while not losing sight of the brand
Excellent understanding of SMB & Enterprise markets & subscription-based revenue models.
Strong brand, direct marketing, lead generation, demand gen and product marketing experience: campaign creation and management, messaging/positioning, public relations, analyst relations, collateral development, email marketing, search engine marketing (SEO/SEM), partner marketing, field/event marketing, customer marketing etc
Experience leading small and large teams and managing $1-$50M budgets with a focus on measurable results and maximum ROI.
Well-versed in digital knowledge and understanding of the evolving media and martech landscape, latest ad platforms and engagement technologies
Previous hands-on experience on managing to implement marketing automation tools such as Pardot.
