An opportunity has arisen to join one of Europe’s leading producers of trailers as a Chief of Group Accounting. We are looking for a communicative team player with interest in taking a key position in an environment that promotes a learning and inclusive management philosophy.
This is both an operative and strategic role which would be an ideal move for a person who is passionate about finance and do enjoy a role with a broad responsibility in an engaged company. You will report to CFO Annika who is an engaged and experienced leader. In the position you act as sounding board to your colleagues and with your competence and experience you lead the change journey with strategies and execution within your area. The position is based at Brenderup’s head office in the centre of Malmö.
As responsible for group accounting and reporting to the owner Storskogen, the Chief of Group Accounting will be a key actor in the success of Brenderup Group. The holder of the position works in close collaboration with the CFO, the rest of the finance community and Storskogen. Brenderup Group is experiencing a steady growth, and we are looking for a person who is able to take a key position in levelling up the finance function to a next level.
Main responsibilities:
• To be accountable for the consolidation of legal reporting, management reporting and annual accounts and to assure an efficient and valuable consolidation processes for the group
• Continuous development and compliance with the Group Financial Manual
• To be an instrumental contributor in financial reporting and reporting of management accounts to the board of directors, investors and bankers
• Responsible for the overall process to assure an optimized process for Transfer Price, Insurances, Tax, Treasury and Company formalities
• To be the system owner of the consolidation system including development plans and maintenance
• M&A activities
• To be accountable for managing and executing the development roadmap for accounting within the Finance Team
• To be a key member of the Finance Management Team
• Work in accordance with the Brenderup Group’s policies and processes and being a true ambassador living the core values of the Brenderup Group
Who are we looking for?
To thrive and to be successful in this position it is important that you have extensive knowledge in accounting, consolidated accounting, consolidation and the K3 and IFRS standards. You have a flair for continuous improvements and a “roll-up-your-sleeves attitude”. You are self-propelled and proactive. You are also service minded and enjoys to add value and make a difference!
You have a degree in MSc in Economics with a minimum of five years of relevant experience from an accounting firm or from a similar position in an international company.
Experience from working in an international listed company with a mix of various cultures and with English as a corporate language is an advantage.
