About Common Base Technologies
Common Base Technologies is a department within the unit SW electronics. We are responsible for SW deployment technologies, vehicle platform services, start and electrical energy management as well as cyber security and communications. We deliver base technology solutions that are integrated into Computer -inro-the Car architecture. Key for innovation within areas such as advanced connectivity, machine learning and autonomous drive. Our mission is to enable common soluions for developing departments within R&D to align for complexity reduction, cost and increased speed.
Role Specifics
You will work as a leader for the Product Cybersecurity work at Volvo Cars R&D and will own the Product Cybersecurity Process utilized at Volvo Cars R&D. As an expert in product cybersecurity you will lead the work to reduce product cybersecurity risks and to design countermeasures against potential cyber attacks towards Volvo Cars assets and vehicals.
You will be leading the work across R&D to:
• Actively identifying, managing and reducing cyber security risks for Volvo Cars vehicles
• Lead the continued work of implementing a Cybersecurity Management System based on ISO/SAE 21434 to fulfill UNECE regulation 155
• Chair the Product Cybersecurity Council on R&D level
• Interact closely with Volvo Cars Chief Information Security Officer
• Following global industry trends, participating in security standardization, and regulation development
• Representing Volvo Cars as a cybersecurity expert in customer related and commercial activities
• Introducing new cybersecurity related policies, standards and practices for this specific field
• Supporting development in cybersecurity issues across R&D areas by sharing an understanding of global cybersecurity risks and market requirements, including regulations and standards
Requirements
We are looking for you who has deep understanding of cybersecurity technology, solutions and processes for vehicles. You are used to complex R&D organisations and comfortable to operate cross functionally through out the complete field of operations.
You have Master or Bachelor of Science or Engineering the field of cybersecurity, information technology, communications technology or similar. You have more than 5 years of experience in relevant field. Experience from Automotive and understanding of ISO/SAE 21434 to fulfill UNECE regulation 155. You work smoothly in an international business environment with strong networking, influencing and excellent communication skills in English.
