Chief Project Manager

Department "Project Office, Sweden", has the overall responsibility to deliver Product Portfolio Development (PPD) projects for Haulers, Loaders and Components in line with established targets and decided financial frames. The department is organized within Technology and consists mainly of Chief Project Managers and Project Managers Engineering. In order to deliver PPD projects in accordance with our Project Plan we are about to recruit a Chief Project Manager (CPM) The CPM will work with strategic engine projects and report to the "Director for Project Office, Sweden". The operational work is carried out in accordance with the Global Development Process together with colleagues from Product Planning, Research & Development, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Finance, Marketing and After Market. Tasks and Responsibilities: The CPM is responsible to manage the project from feasibility phase, through pre-study, concept, development, industrialization and commercialization until follow-up phase. The project shall deliver engines meeting defined targets regarding features, quality and cost within defined time frames. Besides the operational work managing the project, the CPM is assumed to actively participate in continous improvement initiatives aiming to increase efficiency within the Product Portfolio Development-process. Profile and Qualifications: In order to assume a position as CPM, the candidate need to have, strong proven leadership capabilities, a business driven approach and a holistic view, good knowledge of engines, a continuous drive for improvements, experience from management positions, a positive attitude with a great sense of humour.
