Advanced Engineering and Core Technologies Embedded Electronic Systems (EES) at Volvo Construction Equipment in Eskilstuna is on an exciting journey and is now recruiting a Chief Project Manager (CPM). This could be an engaging and exciting challenge for you.

EES has an inspiring Project Program the upcoming years with new generation(s) of Electronic HW (ECUs) and new SW Platform(s). EES is providing E&E building blocks/base system for the complete Volvo Construction Equipment (VCE) machine range, so we offer you a chance to work globally and cross functionally within and outside of VCE and Volvo Group.


We have an exciting journey right now with disruptive technology shifts such as Electro-mobility, Automation and Connectivity and our building blocks need to support them all. In addition, there is a huge movement in the HMI area, e.g. large touch screens for the operator of the machine.


We offer you a chance to take the lead, responsibility and accountability for some of our most exciting projects, as Chief Project Manager. The ongoing projects are related to both new Electronic HW and embedded SW. You will have a large global network of stakeholders and also other CPMs in Eskilstuna to synchronize ways of working and deliveries.


Who are you, our new colleague?
We are looking for a candidate that has the drive and passion to take on new challenges and inspire the project team(s) within the development of the latest technology.


The personal skills of communication and presentations skills, collaboration and producing results are much more valuable than formal technical knowledge. In the projects, a technical project leader and/or SCRUM teams with a Product Owner will be your natural speaking partner. The cross-functional nature of the projects will further enhance your networking skills and holistic view. Is this you?


Any experience in an agile way of working (SAFe, SCRUM, KANBAN etc.) is beneficial.
