Nasdaq is looking for a Chief Scrum Master to join the Nasdaq Realtime Risk & Pricing (NRTR) Engineering Team. NRTR is a comprehensive risk engine, that provides real-time exchange margin, market risk, counterparty risk and P&L services in the face of increasing regulatory scrutiny and capital compression.


Working as a Chief Scrum Master (CSM) within the NRTR organization, you will work across 6-7 teams, taking responsib ility over improving and standardizing our agile ways of working. The NRTR teams work together towards a common goal to ensure our solutions meet customer needs; our technology must be real-time, robust and able to keep up with even the most demanding market conditions.


With this position we offer:


The opportunity to work within a highly skilled and experienced product engineering team. You will coach, facilitate and support cross-functional scrum team s consisting of Business Analysts, Software Engineers, and Test Engineers. As Chief Scrum Master you will mentor other Scrum Masters and work closely with management and stakeholders across the organization.


Your responsibilities:


Drive and faci litate change to create and sustain an agile learning organization


Proactively coach the teams in agile principles using an array of techniques to illustrate concepts and ways of thinking


Be one step ahead of the team in understanding the team's curre nt impediments and bottlenecks, helping them self-identify issues


Coach the team in making major process changes


Understand and use team dynamics concepts to create high-perform ing teams


Highlights and suggests changes to surrounding teams


Facilitate cross - team scrum meetings


Own the cross-team improvement backlog


Facilitate rough work item breakdowns and estimation sessions for long term planning


Together with team SM and team PDL s, make sure the top of backlog is ready for development


We are looking for someone with:


The ability to be resilient, pushing forward new ideas and challenging existing structures, roles and ways of working


Servant leadership, with the ability to l isten and support teams in identifying problems, decision-making and working collaboratively


E xtensive experience working as a full - time Scrum Master


A degree with specialization in Computer Science, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience


It would be great if you have:


Previous experience working as a Chief Scrum Master or RTE spanning over several teams


Experience delivering customizable solution s for different clients
