We have an ever-growing demand for our services and seek to strengthen our team with a new Chief Technology Officer.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
As our CTO, you will be responsible for developing the company’s technology strategy and resources; ensuring technologies are used efficiently and profitably. You will monitor technology trends which could influence the company’s business goals.
You will:
Set system requirements together with the customers and team
Participate in management decisions - strategic and operational
Manage research and development of technology, assets, and associated revenue
Discover and implement new technologies that generate competitive advantage
Design, map and execute the company’s overall technology strategy and architecture
Set team structure, recruiting new engineers, mentoring and developing team members
Approve designs
Maintain current information about standards and compliance regulations
Support test and validation of new technologies
Build relationships with vendors, customers, and communities
Audit and improve processes

At Abtery, we work both individually and in teams, supporting development projects with know-how and expertise within our respective fields. You will be part of a tight and agile team of experts, where your opinion matters.


WHO ARE YOU?
You have a degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 10 years of professional experience within the field, as well as proven experience in leadership roles. You have a sincere technological interest and the ability to analyze data and propose design solutions. You understand budgets and business planning. You feel comfortable in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
Knowledge and experience with high voltage system development, electric power systems, battery management systems and charging systems is essential. Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is also essential.
Requirements:
Excellent communication skills
Leadership and organizational skills
Hands-on experience
B2B and B2C - knowledge of the demands that puts on a business
At least 5 years of experience in powertrain development or similar
Good communicator with the ability to engage and influence
