What is Brizo?

Brizo is an impact startup on a mission to make e-commerce much more sustainable and convenient. Today, you can have groceries delivered to your doorstep sustainably in minutes. The role

Your role as Chief Technology Officer will be to initially build our technical system that can scale from the ground up, including making all technical decisions about the architecture, programming languages, hosting, and more. You will be coding most of the time in the beginning. In addition to being technically involved, you must build a team quickly and recruit and manage it. So you have to be comfortable making technical decisions, recruiting, and leading people. You also need to be aware that this is a startup with big ambitions and growth, which means this is not a typical nine-to-five job.

Eventually, it might be possible to work remotely, but in the first phase, you have to be in Sweden and preferably Stockholm until we have built the initial team.

Who are you?

You are a senior and technically savvy full-stack developer who is still coding daily (a requirement) and is comfortable building large systems from the ground up. In addition, you have experience in recruiting and leading other people. Finally, you understand what it means to work on a VC-funded startup that has to grow fast and can be intense at times.

It's beneficial if you are familiar with our tech stack:

- AWS (RDS, ECS, etc.)

- React/TypeScript

- Node.js/GraphQL

- PostgreSQL

- Docker
