Chief Technology Officer to Alelion

YOU WILL

As CTO at Alelion you will be responsible for developing the company’s technical vision and strategy. You will drive innovation forward and make sure that the right decisions are being made in terms of products and technical solutions, which will contribute to Alelion´s long term success. Your job will be to take the next step in the building and shaping of the R&D department, establishing best practice, processes and making sure that quality standards are met. You will manage the overall architecture, products and new features development as well as playing a vital part in Alelion´s management group reporting directly to the CEO.

As CTO you will not only be responsible for the technical development, but your strategic responsibility will also include:

- Outsourcing / insourcing
- Recruiting and retaining the right competences
- Identify risks and opportunities
- Communicate Alelion’s technology strategy to investors, partners, management and employees
- Monitor technological and scientific trends within Alelion’s business areas

YOU ARE

We are looking for a technical and strategic leader that dare to challenge! You will need to be a communicative team player with gravitas and excellent leadership skills. You also need a fair share of business acumen understanding Alelion’s business and their place in the market. In order to succeed we think that your background is from software and embedded system development and that you have experience from a similar position and challenge. Meritorious would be experience of hardware development batteries or energy storage. We think that you are passionate about working with technology that contribute to a more sustainable world and wants to be part of an entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment.
