The Country Leader is responsible for driving business in designated region to achieve required financial results in accordance with NER strategy and plans. He/ She will motivate and lead the regional team of sales, service, rental and sales support employees by complying with all company sales and service management processes. The Country Leader will be responsible for managing the entire Trane, Thermocold, MTA and ALKO portfolio as per the set annual operating plan targets, further develop our ICS brand in Denmark & Norway, in addition to different initiatives agreed at the office level.
Ensures compliance, company policies, procedures, and operational integrity are always maintained in line with the current company policies.
Responsibilities
Business Leadership and Management
· Overall responsibility for full profit and loss accounts in region, deliver the revenue, operating income, productivity, and cash flow targets.
· Develop and drive a multi-channel business model in Sweden, Denmark & Norway.
· Ensure appropriate organization structure, in line with the NER business model, is in place to meet and optimize business performance, service levels and customer satisfaction.
· Understand, localize, and implement market strategies and enterprise growth opportunities in line with NER HVAC plan to achieve the organization long term goals and deliver on annual goals as defined by the SBU.
· Able to drive the sales teams to promote, specify and sell new products and services including but not limited to heating, rental and TBA.
· Collaborates with key stakeholders within Trane Technologies, Integrated Supply Chain, Finance, HR, Product management and marketing teams across Trane Technologies to build a strong business in the designated region.
· Review performance continuously and develop rectification plans (counter measures) to address shortfalls and drive implementation where / when required.
· Act as escalation point for country with regards to customer issues and dispute resolution.
· Conduct appropriate customer courtesy visits and solicit the Voice of the Customer.
. Proactively gain insight to market analysis and develop effective how to win, where to play strategies
· Promotes a positive inclusive culture with strong emphasis on people engagement and employees' retention and development across the whole organization.
People Leadership and Management
· Recruit, develop, motivate, and manage the performance of the country team in line with corporate policies and processes.
· Identify, manage and develop top talent in line with corporate policies and processes.
· Reward and recognize the team in line with corporate policies.
· Ensure proper communication to the field, through townhalls and other means of communication
· Provide required Leadership and motivation to ensure optimal engagement of the in-country employees is maintained at all Time
· Identify training needs and opportunities to develop a highly skilled workforce. Trains and coaches employees for succession.
· Ability to foresee business and market challenges and be able to put the right go to market strategy and execution plan.
· Ability to adopt leadership style to coop with the changing and challenges environment .
. Demonstrate the ability to actively participate in daily hands-on business activities.
Qualification
§ Effective communication skills, both written and verbal in Swedish and English language
§ Proven Bachelor or Masters' degree in either Technical or Business University
§ Proven track record in sales management especially in direct sales management role
§ Good level of negotiation skills at all levels
§ Previous experience of managing teams of sales and service employees, ideally including remote teams across cultural boundaries
§ Previous experience of working in a matrix management environment
§ Good understanding of local regional market – business sector and Local Culture
§ Strong business and financial acumen and proven commercial and Negotiation skill
§ Product awareness – ability to engage in commercial discussion around product
§ Willingness to travel within local region (and internationally – as needed)
§ Presentation skills – customers, internal senior management, and Peers
§ Influencing skills – customers, internal senior management, and Peers
§ Results orientated and self-motivated
§ R12, SLX and DFSD knowledge is essential
§ §Ability to make and defend complex decisions
