About this opportunity
PDU Cloud is responsible for the development of Cloud Products and Solutions. NFVI and CNIS are the Cloud Solutions, based on the PDU cloud products. Enabling Ericsson CNFs and VNFs to run in our full stack solutions. We in PDU Cloud IDS are responsible for Integration and Verification of the solutions. As part of the activities, we are driving Integration, Verification and CI/Test Automation on solution level for NFVI and CNIS.
We strive for 100% automation of what is deemed automatable with payback.


What you will do
Integrate and automate our Cloud solutions activities in a state-of-art environment where test cases are automated with JCAT and open source frameworks before they are put into the solution CI loops to protect legacy features
Take new features/requirements and break them down into executable and plan-able items
Integrate and verify our Cloud solution in a state-of-art environment
Perform CI/CD design, implementation as well as solving problems
Perform automation of tools, test environment and test cases with Python/Java scripting
Simplify integration, configurations and ways of working
Analyze data from the activities via data analytics methods
Report to Section Manager within integration, deployment and support



You will bring
Professional system/solution testing skills that master several programming languages (Java, Python, JCAT framework is of benefit) and excellent Linux operational skills
Understanding and willingness to master the Ericsson way of implementing CI/CD flows based on Spinnaker and related tools (Jenkins Git/Gerrit, MySQL databases)
Profound knowledge and few years of experience in Cloud technologies: virtual machines, container technologies. Openstack, Kubernetes and networking
Solid understanding of parts of the NFVI and CNIS solutions and their products (SDI, CEE, SDN, CCD, EO, EVNFM)
Knowledge in the area of the ELK stack or Grafana
Solid knowledge of well-structured troubleshooting methods and skills
Proven experience in planning, execution and documentation of different phases, like planning for how to break down test requirements and execute on these requirements, deliver and report the expected result in the planned timeframe
Experience with VNFs - Ericsson or external (beneficial)
Knowledge of Lean and Agile way of working
Focus on meeting customer expectations and delivering results
Eagerness to collaborate, learn, change and share new things
The reputation of being a great teammate, crafting and maintaining relationships in an international development environment
