CI and Test Engineer

We are now creating a team that will work with Solution Vehicle Platform, a team that will focus on CI improvements and Test Development. The people in this team need to be experts in different SW testing areas to secure that we get a fast and smooth process. The team members will synchronize the ARTs need and support of software development to reach new levels.
Assignment, Scope and Purpose
HIL:
Get a full picture on our status concerning where we are and what we need when it comes to HIL designs and solutions. Propose a plan of how to improve and make a more centralized approach on HIL design and maintenance. Lead the change to a more centralized approach. The team to contribute with expertise in review and documents of HIL designs. Drive improvements with help from “HIL solutions”. Create proposals on small variants of HIL platforms architectures that fit our needs now and for known future.


Testing improvements:
Improve the way we are working with automated testing. Drive Community of Practices. Create discussions on how to improve. Lead and coach in improvement areas. Improve our test strategy and lead test strategy rollout. Expertise in SW testing and education. Drive improvements and coach teams to understand what to test and what to follow up from suppliers.


Test Driven Development:
Improve on testability and develop a testable product. The team shall start a community around test driven development. That will need to expand, and the team shall roll out new WoW. Good knowledge in testing on UNIT, HIL, SIL, MIL and great experience in drive improvements within test automation. The team will define and plan stories for the content of this assignment, owning their own backlog. The team will perform the allocated timed stories according to plan.
