About this opportunity
The main focus at the Ericsson site in Karlskrona is to provide charging functions, where our solutions are responsible for the charging of almost 2 billion subscribers today. The site also have major responsibilities when it comes to setting up user and service data in the network, as well as providing solution for machine-to-machine communication and the emerging utility industry. The Karlskrona site has a very strong track-record of inventing solutions that becomes new profitable products on the market, such as Wallet platform. A lot of attention is also put on innovation and exploring new technical possibilities.

Are you looking for a job where you will be working in the middle of everything? CAT (Continuous Automation Team) is a team responsible for the continuous integration within our development organization, related to automation including tools. The services are utilized by several organizations across multiple sites.
What you will do
The successful candidate will work within this agile team, interacting with all our software developing teams within our product BEAM, to realize improvements and give support within the Continuous Automation area, incl Tools and Environment.
The main responsibility for the CAT-team is to provide and maintain an automated environment that ease up the daily work for all our developers.
This is done by e.g. improve the user environment, provide the necessary tools for the developer, shorten our Continuous Integration lead time via automated job to ensure fast feedback loops in general and be the interface towards the E3 organization.
Working with continues improvements and drive towards new technologies is also an important part of the role.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an agile CI/CD Developer with a genuine interest in technology, programming and scripting that enjoys working in teams. You always want to bring quality forward and provide proposals on how we can improve.
The successful candidate is familiar with infrastructure, Linux and IP in general.
You want to be the best in your area of expertise, but you are also curious to understand the big picture and how mobile networks work. You strive to meet targets and highest standards of quality and have the ability to analyze and solve problems. Last, but not least - join a great team! The candidate should be self-driven, service minded and enjoy working in team and have good social skills to interact and work within a multinational, multi-site cross-functional teams/program set-up. The ability to think outside the box and take responsibility end to end is a must.
Additionally, we believe the candidate has exceptional analytical and communication skills, with excellent skills in oral and written English.
The communication skills are especially important since the number of users of our components are vast, and we need to provide excellent support on how to use our system.
You will bring
A university degree (M.Sc. or B.Sc.) in Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar
Deep skills in scripting in general, e.g. Python, shell
Deep experience of Linux systems
Deep experience of infrastructure, networking and IP in general
Good programming skills (JavaScript, Groovy)
Deep experience in general tools and techniques: Docker, GIT, Jenkins, Maven, Mesos, MongoDB, MySQL, Gerrit, Kubernetes
Experience in Frameworks like AngularJS and Flask
