The twelve month talent program is a collaboration between Nexer Tech Talent and the departments Connected Experience and Software & Electronics Platform at Volvo Cars and during this time you will combine working at Volvo with an educational package within your field of technology, team building and guidance by mentors. The program will begin in September 2021 and after a successful participation you will be offered employment at Volvo Cars.

About the Software & Electronics Platform

You will join the Software & Electronics Platform: We imagine that our friends, families, and children are transported in a personal, sustainable and safe way. What we build is a self-driving, fully electric, connected and safe Volvo Car. To make that happen, we are now building a new platform. The brain in this platform will be a Core Computer with the capacity to carry a vast majority of electric control units and applications in the car. This new centralized signal system aims to enable optimized software architecture and continuous deployment for further development, as well as over the air data updates and real-time decision-making for autonomous drive.

Your role and the team

You will work within an agile environment and where you focus a lot on team development and personal competence. In the team you will work with integration of the platform and the complete electrical system. The ambition is to be a bottom up driven company with empowered teams with a creative environment. And who has the ambition to have the best electrical system in the automotive world. Other tasks you will be workning with;


• Integration planning, build test rigs, develop the CI infrastructure
• Plan which test to perform, automate tests, run tests and follow up the result
