The position is placed at the companys financial department in Örebro. The Chief Accountant reports directly to the Finance Manager in Sweden, but is acting within the European Finance matrix organization. The main responsibility for the position will be financial compliance, financial close process and analysis. The Chief Accountant will also be responsible for maintenance and development of finance module of ERP. Being part of a US based corporation with shares quoted on NY stock exchange, and acting on the global automotive market, Stoneridge is subject for continuous challenges of accounting and compliance. The role offers an opportunity to gain experience and knowledge in an international environment, and a wide area of contacts in the group. Vi söker dig som A University Degree in Science within Business administration and Economics with focus on accounting is required. You also need at least two years of work experience within the accounting field, preferably from the manufacturing industry. To successful manage the role you should have a high level of motivation and be full of initiative. It is also meritorious to have high analytical level and to have process oriented skills. Furthermore high communication skills will be needed in the company?s team oriented organization. Advanced knowledge in English, written and spoken, is a requirement. You will have an ability to plan your own working time and should have a willingness to travel.
