We are looking for a Circular concept designer to develop the offering of circular design in various forms for the growing business. Your location will be Halmstad with the ability to work from home or flexible location. You need to work in Halmstad office minimum two days a week. You will be working in our business unit, Circular solutions which is a part of Stora Enso Packaging Solutions.

About the position
As a Circular Concept Designer you will be responsible for creating and develop our business models and products, so a circular flow is possible. Focus area is packaging. You will be working as a design lead in product and service development projects and in conjunction with the SE design team. Your tasks include to developing our strategy and concepts for applying circular design principles in our future product and service offering. In order to succeed you will cooperate closely with internal and external stakeholders, seeking new partnerships and ideas for how to obtain.
You will be a part of a creative and entrepreneurial environment, working to impact the global environment by replacing one-way and single-use strategies with circular flows and re-use.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for a person, who is driven and passionate about creation and have 2-3 years’ experience in product design or similar. Most important is your ability to turn ideas on paper into reality and actions. Your proficiency is likely based on a degree in product/industrial design or courses related to sustainability and/or circular economy, but we will also accept candidates with a degree in Economics or Engineering, with a proven track record of establishing new business models and with a clear interest in product design and packaging materials. It is beneficial if you have knowledge about circular concept design and packaging materials. You are doer, who likes to action, who is not afraid to seek new contacts and partnerships. You are able to function and thrive in a rapidly evolving team and environment. You also like to solve problems.
